SHETLAND
A native breed from the Shetland Isles in northern Scotland, Shetland sheep are one of Britain’s oldest wool breeds, shaped by a harsh coastal climate. Their fleece is typically fine, with a natural range of soft, muted shades.

Lightweight and elastic with a fine, slightly airy handle, Shetland wool produces fabrics that are warm without bulk. Well suited to colourwork, lightweight garments, and traditional knit structures.
